Why did you apply for the Acorn Enterprise Business Accelerator Programme?
I was in an incubator in London and wanted to find an accelerator without giving away equity. Being an alumna of St Andrews university I was also looking at options in Scotland.
As a business owner, how would you describe yourself in three words?
Adventurous, linguist, entrepreneur.
What or who motivated you to form your business?
I dreamt of it since I was 14-15, then when I was about to finalise my dissertation at St Andrews I started learning more about entrepreneurship.
How would you describe your business in three words?
Customised, Individual, Innovative.
What was the best bit of advice your received on the Business Accelerator Programme?
Keep calm and plan your next steps.
How has your business grown since being on the Programme?
4x more clients. And a new platform is being launched.
What are you most proud of about your business?
People. Amazing people working on this project.
What is the most amusing incident that has happened
in the history of your business?
Unexpectedly getting into top 20 of the world in 2015. I discovered it at 22.30 on a Friday night after getting back home and I had no idea how to react, so I put on my sneakers and ran around the Meadows trying to process the moment!
What are the three most important things you would tell an aspiring business “Acorn”?
Don’t give up. Keep going forward. No matter what. I also almost
gave up a few times but then changed my mind as whatever happens – it is not your death – it is just a temporary moment that underwhelmed your expectations – you can survive overcoming it and moving on, learning from your mistakes.
If you started over, what one thing would you do differently?
If I knew 3 years ago what I know now, probably everything would have developed in a completely different way.
Who’s the most famous or interesting character you’ve met whilst running your business?
Gary Vaynurchek, Joseph Gordon-Levit…the networking has evolved during the past 2 years.
How do you unwind?
Painting, piano, hiking, jogging, swimming, surfing…given that I constantly travel to conferences and exhibitions I don’t have a constant routine.

How would you describe Acorn Enterprise?
A mix of individuals brave enough to believe in their dreams and take action.
